This October, join schools across Hampshire in celebrating International Walk to School Month by encouraging everyone to travel actively and sustainably.

As we head into autumn, Walktober is a great way for pupils, families and staff to stay active and continue to enjoy the outdoors by walking, wheeling, cycling, scooting, using Park and Stride or taking public transport more often.

With competitions designed to inspire, this initiative is suitable for all schools and early years settings to take part in. STARS schools can also use their participation as evidence towards accreditation.

Last year saw over 130 Hampshire schools and settings take part, and with the amazing comments from schools  about Walktober 2024, we hope even more schools sign up for 2025!
