Eligibility for Free School Meals (Pupil Premium)

For some children, eligibility to the Pupil Premium will apply. To establish if you qualify for the Pupil Premium please click the link below for further information from Hampshire County Council and follow the online checking process. Pupil Premium provides additional funding for our school and your child which is very valuable (£1320!), so please check your eligibility. If you have any questions or would like us to check for you please ask at the school office.

Healthy Schools

Our aim is to ensure all children have access to nutritious options throughout the school day, in line with national health guidelines.

Morning Snack: All children will be provided with a healthy fruit or vegetable snack by the school each morning. 

Milk: As part of our commitment to healthy development, Reception children are offered a cup of milk as an afternoon drink, up to their fifth birthday.

Water: Hydration is key throughout the day. Your child is welcome to bring a refillable bottle filled with plain water only. We also ensure all children are provided with a cup of water during lunchtime. These practices are in line with NHS guidance on healthy eating and drinking for children.

Dietary and Medical Needs / No Nuts Policy: We are a strict 'no nut' school to protect children with severe allergies. We kindly request your full cooperation in ensuring no nut products are brought onto school premises. For this reason, and to ensure consistency in healthy eating, children are not permitted to bring their own snacks to school.

If your child has a specific dietary or medical need that requires alternative arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact the school office to arrange a meeting. We are committed to working closely with you and following medical guidance to ensure your child's needs are fully supported.
