Here at South Farnborough Infant School, we are extremely proud of our unique Harmony Curriculum, which puts real-life learning about the world we live in at the heart of the learning experience for every child. This curriculum is rooted in Nature’s 7 Principles of Harmony, which guide our teaching and learning practices.

    • Wellbeing - 'Healthy, happy learners'

    • Diversity - 'All different but all the same'

    • Oneness – ‘Oneness is living in harmony with everyone and everything'

    • Adaptation - 'Mirroring nature's perfect designs'

    • Geometry - 'Order and pattern, in and around us'

     Interdependence - 'Needing one another'

    • Circles and Cycles - 'Yesterday, today and forever'

If you wish to find out more about the Harmony Curriculum, please speak to your child's class teacher or email the school office, who will redirect your email to the appropriate member of staff adminoffice@southfarnborough-inf.hants.sch.uk

    Harmony Heroes – School Council

Each year, a dedicated group of our Year 2 pupils are elected to serve on our school council as Harmony Heroes.

These remarkable children have a vital and exciting role. They are tasked with upholding and actively promoting our school's Harmony Principle throughout our school community. Beyond this important responsibility, our Harmony Heroes are committed to being actively engaged in school life, and crucially, to engaging with children across all year groups to help make our school an even more wonderful place to learn and grow.

    2025 - 2026

This year, our new Harmony Heroes have already hit the ground running with an incredibly important initiative! They have been busy collaborating with our school's travel plan advisor to encourage more pupils to walk to school. This fantastic effort not only promotes healthier lifestyles for our children but also plays a crucial role in helping to reduce congestion and pollution in our local area.
