      Published 22/01/26

Today, the Roots and Shoots pupil gardening club went on an exciting bird-watching adventure in the local area with  Mrs Bailey and Mrs Moore, as part of the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch. The children observed a variety of birds including a  red kite.

    • January 2026 - Action for Happiness

      Published 06/01/26

Action for Happiness is a movement of people taking action to promote a happier world, through a culture that prioritises happiness and kindness. The idea is that happiness is something we ‘do’ and that we can change how we feel by taking small daily actions at home, at school, at work and in wider society to make a difference together.

They produce a monthly calendar with a different theme which is very useful in reminding us of the little things that we can do each day that make a difference to ourselves and others and how we feel. Each month we will share the calendar with you (see below) as a way of supporting your family’s wellbeing.

Please check out our Health and Wellbeing page in the Parent tab.
