  • Bird watching

Today, the Roots and Shoots pupil gardening club went on an exciting bird-watching adventure in the local area with  Mrs Bailey and Mrs Moore, as part of the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch. The children observed a variety of birds including a  red kite.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) organises this annual event to help people of all ages connect with local wildlife and contribute to vital bird population data. For those interested in learning more or participating at home, the RSPB’s dedicated website—www.rspb.org.uk—offers resources and guidance to join the birdwatching fun.
