About Our School
South Farnborough Infant School provides a happy, stimulating and inclusive environment for its children and for the community it serves. We have 9 classes, 3 in EY, 3 in Y1 and 3 in Y2 with 271 children on roll. We have at least one Learning Support Assistant in each class and several Special Needs Assistants to provide extra support either to a year group or to individual children. The most effective resources any school can offer its children are human and we ensure our Learning Support Assistants and Special Needs Assistants are well informed, well trained and very much a part of the team.
Teachers and Learning Support Assistants work in year group teams and plan together. We are extremely proud of our Harmony curriculum which is exciting, challenging and ensures children learn key skills to transfer into everyday life. We value the indoor and outdoor environment and plan many structured play activities around our themed way of working, which the children enjoy.
